New things have come...

Its been a weekend of getting rid of the old and the coming of the new. I sold my trusty old Landcruiser that I have owned since November last year, the cruiser has seen me through some rough tracks and some slipery mud, but being a petrol model it tends to guzzle a lot of fuel, which makes for a very unhappy owner - that is me! Luckily for me, I managed to purchase another cruiser over the weekend, a little bit more than what I wanted to spend but it is everything I want in every way, and its a turbo diesel model which means that I will get excellent fuel economy. I am going to pick the latest edition to the family up on Wednesday... I cant wait!

Also another new edition to the family is my first ever bit of L series glass, the Canon 17-40mm L series lens which just arrived as I started typing the first paragraph of this update. So far its been a great week, and I am sure that this weekend the new lens will get a huge workout.

This is only going to be a short update and as always I dont have anything to say when I do update. Everytime things come up or points that I want to bring up on the site come to my head I am far away from a computer and dont have anything to jot them down with, things have to change in that regard. Anyway for now this is about all, take care.

This farm station was abandoned, and falling to bits, I am sure the late afternoon sun would have done it alot more justice but I couldnt wait around till that time of day. The colours and atmosphere of the photo turned out quite nice, so I have titled this one 'Abandoned'.
